Question:

Am I an Alto, Soprano...I'm not quite sure? Can you help me out? Video provided..?

I have trouble hitting high notes...but I guess that depends on your definition of high notes. I can also go VERY low. Like, manly low...and it sounds good. So can somebody please take a look at one of my videos and tell me what I am? My voice teacher would always say Soprano but I doubt it. I think i sound really bad when I try to hit high notes. Like my voice is very rough and goes flat at spots. Low notes, I sound great.

  1. Your voice will probably loer as you age and you would be considered an alto to mezzo range. You are NOT a soprano, nor will youi ever most likely be. Still, remember that there are people with ranges so big that they have more than one classification (e.g., there are men with bass-soprano ranges.)
