Am I and EU or an overseas student?

Question

I'm planning to apply to study in UK, but I'm not sure what kind of student I am.

Here's my status:

I have EU citizen (Italian to be specific), but I have never lived in Europe.

So, how do I qualify?

If you have an EU passport, you're an EU student.

If you are an EU citizen then you count as an EU student.

if you have an italian passport then you will be able to get into uni as an EU student, you want to make sure you do get in as an EU student as it will save a lot of money.
