Am I being a wimp or not? Recovery taking too long?

I had laproscopic surgery a week ago. They went in and cut my uterus from my abdominal wall where it was stuck and took a biopsy. I am still not back to my usual self and still taking the pain med's. The doctor said I was not to return to my activities until I see him on Wednesday. Is it normal to still feel like c**p and not be back to work after such a simple procedure?

well ok....i had laprosopic surgery to tie my tubes and it took nearly 3 weeks to just get to where i could manage the pain on my own with out meds....and i had a 2 month old at the time her dad had to deal with her till i could sit up and take her wanting to lay on my chest even so i would have to say no you absolutely not a wimp
