Am I being charged for a crime.?

Wednesday night the police came to the house without a warrant. They pulled over my friend in my driveway gave them a Breathalyzer test. They then searched them found some pot. charged them with the pot, then they proceeded to come to the backyard and detain me. They then asked my mom if they could search my shed. They found about 5 grams of pot for witch I told them it was mine. I expected to go to jail, but they let me go with no proof the incident ever happened. did not receive a ticket no written warning. Now my sister in law says that I am being charged with a felony possession charge. Is this at all possible to charge a person with no inventory or proof of where it came from. Also my friend who was detained said the police took the pot out of the box and tried to charge him with it.

You should have recieved a citation or a court date if you were charged with anything. Why would you have admitted to pot in your household shed as being yours?????

5grams...it is not a felony....it is a misdemeanor...Dont worry..your in the clear!

I bet your sister is playing with you or something because you shouldn't get charged and you probably won't. Even when you said the pot was yours the police oficers probably thought you were sticking up for your friends and said forget it!

maybe if they were like writing stuff down...

i don't think they have to give you anything. maybe they will call you.

but I'm not to sure just my opinion.

no you wont get charged

next time if they want to come in without a warrant tell them to **** off

You can stop the police from searching your house with no warrant so tell them to get stuffed. But i think you'll be fine. Don't worry too much about it aye.
