Am I being duped?

Do they usually give free stuff away at bridal fairs? I won a free hour long massage at the first bridal fair and I just went to my second one where I won a deluxe serving set and $350 worth of laser treatment (like hair removal and stuff). Am I lucky or just a sucker?

btw, the laser treatment place is 2 hours away. Would you drive 2 hours to get $350 worth of free laser treatments?

  1. i won an all inclusive trip to the bahamas at a bridal show it was a honeymoon package.. i was pretty skeptical.. u had to go within a year and i wouldnt be married yet so my fiance and i went on a pre wedding honeymoon..and it was a blast! i mean of course they try to up sell u and make money that way but just say no.. tell u only want the free stuff...   im scared of that laser treatment stuff but if ur not then i think the 2 hour drive would be worth it

  2. most people win stuff some people have more luck then outhers

  3. It sounds like you are lucky. Just beware of a company that goes by the name of Simplicity Gourmet or Simplicity Bridal. That is a scam.

  4. Yup, most bridal fairs give away a bunch of free stuff. My wife came home with spa treatments, cookware and other stuff.

  5. I wouldn't drive 2 hours away for the treatment.. But then I don't need it.

But the the hour long massge would be worth it.

Call before you go and see what the deal is.

  6. Yes, all bridal shows give away one prize per vendor booth.  You usually have to carry around a paper to be signed off by each vendor.  If you have them all checked off you are in the running for a free prize of some sort from the vendor that chooses your name.  Lots of brides-to-be leave before the prizes are given away.  You were lucky enough to be there!!

You aren't a sucker, I would go and have fun.
