Am I being radiator-hosed?

My 2004 Dodge Durango has been overheating. The repair shop said it, most likely, needed a thermostat. After taking it in to the shop, they're telling me I need a new water pump ("it's loose") and that the radiator has a blockage from a possible broken piece of the water pump. Is this possible?

Yes it is Possible. i heard the parts on thoes arn't to good

With the way they make parts these days anything is possible.
