Am I being unreasonable?

Question

So my aunt that lives like 15 minutes away needs pads.

She can't go to the pharmacy and no one would be home to care for my sister & cousin (my sister went there for a sleepover)

Anyways, my dad was going to pick up my sister after work. And my mom asked me to walk and bring some pads for my aunt. Then i would come home with my sister & dad.

But I didn't want to walk because:

1.) I feel uncomfortable walking there because the cars swerve alot since the street isn't straight.

2.) My dad could go get some at a nearby pharmacy (even though it would be a little bit weird)

My mom said that someone needed help, so I should go help.

Was I being unreasonable or selfish?

I also said that I'll go, I just don't want to.

imagine how you'd feel if it was you who had none and no one would bring you any.

get off the computer and take her some now...

its not exactly a strenuous activity....

yes, if she doesnt have anything it can be pretty uncomfortable and gross and having to watch to kids would suck. i know u said ud go, but listen to ur parents, im sure theyve done things for u that seem pointless or that they dont want to.

You are bing a git unreasonable. It is your aunt and not a stranger so there is a family connection and she is occupied with childrenl Be very careful as you cross the street, but be a good niece and take the items to your aunt.

its not that big of a deal. yeah, your dad could pick it up or even if he just kinda like drove you there.

Like your mom said , if someone needs help try your best to help and it doesnt seem like too much of a big deal for you to help out ,I wouldnt say your being selfish because you still said that you would do it even though you didnt want to . however unresonable? possibly

Um in my opinion that is kinda mean what happen if you was in your aunts shoes dont get lazy leave y!a for a while put ur shoes and get pads!

I wouldn't say your selfish. Imagine how your family would feel if you got hurt I mean we answering here can't comprehend how dangerous this road might be. It could be a lot worse then we think.

However you could go just be extra catious, dont rush to her home take your time make sure the street is clear look both ways and you'll be ok.

Go and help your Aunt.  She'll remember it, and will probably do something for you in the future when you need something.

I would just be really careful.  You just keep your eyes on the cars.  I walk all the time and that's what I do.
