Am I being weird

Question

I am 16 and I have never had a boyfriend. I kissed one guy at this camp but I was more pressured into it and I hated it I felt like I was being molested. I am pretty sure I don't like girls or anything like that. I like to hang out with guys and it doesn't really matter what they look like but I won't let them like even put their arm around my shoulders until I have known them like a month. Also why do guys move so fast the guy at camp maybe we kissed for 5 seconds and then he asks do you want to go further???? Isn't the first kiss in a serious relationship soposed to mean something rather then a ladder to get to s*x. Am I werid for taking things sooo slow.

You're not weird at all, just shows you have responsibility and that you have morals, lol xD Don't let any boy pressure you like that again, and don't worry, you'll come across a guy who's just perfect for you, don't feel like you have to rush into anything just because "society" tells you to. honey first of all you are doing the right thing, read some other things on here. i just gave an opinion on a 13 year old who is pregnant. you are not going to slow, you are doing what is best for you (which is wise) you are only young once. and you dont need at an early age to be pregnant, std or feel pressure in anyway that you regret. when the time is right you will know it and do the correct thing. good luck honey and keep it up.

Your not weird at all.  Your just really smart for taking things slow and not looking like a complete s**t.  You don't have to make out with guys and have s*x to be cool or prove something.  First kisses aren't supposed to be awkward, gross, or even scary, but that's what most people go through.  What will it give you to say that you've had a bf and that you had s*x?  Boyfriends only bring tears at this age, and s*x...don't even get me started.

You are not weird at all. It is geat that you are mature and confident in yourself. take your time and wait for the right guy to come along. I did not have a boyfriend until I was 18. When the time is right you will know and until then be proud of who you are and keep respecting yourself.
