Am I boring or do I need to meet new friends?

Hi there,

I don't seem to enjoy going out much anymore but I think it maybe the people I go out with. I generally go out with my boyfriend and his mates. This is usually blokes and girls mixed together. I get on with everyone alright but I feel I don't really belong with them. When it's me and my boyfriend we have a great time and have fun and I don't get bored. I find though with his group of mates that I get bored easy and they are not into the same things as me. The girls are really hyper and giggly and love getting recked. They can stop out in the pub all day but a couple of hours in the evening and I've had enough.

Have I got a problem or do I need to meet some people that like to have an intelligent conversation and not have to be pissed to enjoy a night out. I don't want to seem that I am looking down at people or I'm a bore but I just don't find all this stop in the pub all day all the time stimulating.

  1. i think you need more new friends because its boring di ba kasi lagi nalang sila ang kasama at nakikita mo

  2. You just need to meet new friends who enjoy the same things as you. I dont like going down the pub and getting drunk either. I occasionally go with my friends, but they go clubbing etc without me as I dont like it. We also go the the cinema and stuff as well so its the best of both worlds. Just be yourself and find other people you can share different things with.

  3. You definitely need to make some friends of your own. Preferably some who enjoy things that are a bit more interesting than those who think getting p**s drunk is an actual activity. Frankly if I had to choose between pub crawling and stopping at home for the evening I would chose home and a good book! There are so many things to do, like going to a show or an art exhibit or......

No you aren't looking down on them, you are simply different. They sound quite boring and static and THAT is a bore. So go out with mates you have more common interests with and just stop with them once in while to be polite.
