  1. Yes, you are a minor and without a flight attendent you will be unaccompanied.

  2. Then tell your parents that you have a choice lol don't let some lady watch your every move

    stand up fpr yourself

    :D

  3. If your 15 it means you have the choice for a member of staff to escort you to and from the plane.

Its upto you wether you would prefer to go with or without a member of staff.

Didn't you answer your own question ?

  4. It is up to you whether you want to be accompanied or not.  You are old enough that they won't require it.

  5. no, i have been flying to brazil since i was 7 by myself, last year they stopped accompanying me, because they said 13 year olds didnt need it anymore.

  6. I know that most airlines consider ages 15 and up the be young adults. I am 16 and will be traveling with American Airlines alone. It said that I was not required to be accompanied.

  7. You are an unaccompanied minor, but at 15 your parents have choices about how much supervision you get.  If your parents register you for supervision a full UM, then the airline has no choice but to comply...and you won't be allowed to fly if you refuse to co-operate.

If your parents confirm at checkin that you are allowed to make your own way, then the airline will allow that.

So really, your parents are the ones you need to convince!

  8. Most airlines say if a person is under the age of 15 they are an unaccompanied minor. Since your airline lets you chose, do what you want.

  9. Honey, I've been flying alone since I was 10 years old and if they EVER tried to take my ticket from me or treat me like I had no idea what I was doing, I told them I would scream "Rape".

The first time I flew INTERNATIONAL I was 15 and they served me alcohol as soon as we were over International Waters because we were under the laws of the DESTINATION, not the origin. LOL!

As long as you know what the h**l your doing and don’t run around like your 5 and not 15 then they will leave you alone.

If you get lost, Don’t hesitate to ask for directions… If you get confused about something, Don’t hesitate to ASK for clarification.

I’m 28 now and sometimes I still need to ask questions and I’ve flown more times then I can even remember…

Just stay calm, bring a book, a cd player, and a game boy and do as security tells you and you will be just fine.
