  1. You both need to ask your insurance agents. Some companies cover you while you're driving a "loaned" vehicle and some don't. Also some policies cover the car for drivers the owner allows to drive the car and again, some don't.

  2. Generally if she gave you permission to drive her vehicle than her insurance will cover it and vice versa. Check with insurance though!

  3. Your coverages should transfer to her car. Her Insurance would be primary, yours secondary. Unless her car is excluded from your policy or you are excluded from her policy.  In any event call your agent.

  4. the best thing to do is check with the insurance company ... but you should be covered by her insurance as long as you are a licensed driver.

  6. no, did she make you putt a kitten as your avatar ?

  7. Insurance follows the car- NOT the driver.   so your insurance has nothing to do with it.

Therefore you dont have a choice- if you drive her car.. her insurance will always be primary as it is the insurance for that vehicle.  You need to call her carrier and see if they will cover you or not- that depends on the company. Some cover unlisted drivers and some are very strict about it.

If for some reason she didnt have insurance.. your insurance MAY cover it but it depends on your policy.

But you have no choice in whether or not your insuarnce or hers covers the vehicle- its always the owners insurance primarily.

DONT make any assumptions- ask her carrier first.
