Am I crazy, or does global dimming seem like a bigger problem than global warming?

I think overall, global warming is happening (refer to shrinking mountain glaciers and ice caps for verification) and we should be worried about this fact. But overall I think global dimming is a VERY serious problem. Sunlight levels are the biggest factor on rates of evaporation, much more so than temperature. Also if there are too many particles in the air, rain doesn't form properly and the environment stays hazy without any condensation. I think this is what is causing the worldwide droughts.

  1. Both are really serious, and both need to be dealt with. But global warming seems to be an issue that is on more people's minds right now, since we are already starting to see and feel the consequences. But you're right they're both problems that need to be fixed.

  2. hm. i never thought about that, but you have an excellent point. i geuss they can both be considered to be MAJOr problems in the world.
