I'm doing research on stress and myopia and in class my supervisor put a pen in front of my eyes moved it back and forth, and then said my eyes weren't going in properly or something. She acted like it was no big deal though, and she is an optomotrist. Didn't have a chance though to ask her what exactly she meant.
I also remember that when I went to the ophthalmologist a few years ago, he did the same thing for AGES. Moving his pen back and forth as though checking to see if I was cross-eyed. But didn't say anything...
And I notice that occasionally in photos i sometimes look a little cross-eyed. But i always thought it was cos my eye shape is a little oriental.
What does all this mean??? Is it normal for people to have one eye turning in a little or something? Can this also affect vision. Because my vision has gotten slighly worse in one eye over the past year, i'm getting it checked soon. Should I mention it?
