I am 20 yrs old and I steam and use the queen helene mint mask once every week. Every morning during summer I use aveeno spf 70. I also use an anti wrinkling cream for under my eyes. My mom said that I am doing too much to my skin and that i am doing more damage than helping it. Is this true? Also does tweezing your eyebrows everyday cause the skin around the eye to sag?

Thanks : )

  1. Well, the steam and mask once a week doesn't seem too bad, and the sunscreen is an excellent idea.

    I don't think you're doing too much.

But, as for the tweezing, I wouldn't do it every day. Your eyebrows will stop growing after a while, and it's better to have thick eyebrows than none at all!

    Hope I helped!

  2. Wow, you're actually doing exactly what you should to ensure a youthful look when you get older.  I don't think there's anything wrong with your routine at all.

And all tweezing will do in the long run is cause the eyebrow hairs to become finer and lighter over the years.  Eventually they'll start taking longer to grow back.  Nothing wrong there, lol!

And some really good wrinkle advice is something I heard Tyra Banks say.  She said that her mother used Vaseline under her eyes everyday.  Just plain Vaseline.  If you've ever seen photos of her, she's in her 50's or 60's and she doesn't have ANY wrinkles at all!  My mom also did this.  She's 52 and ppl mistake her as my sister (I'm 24) all the time.  And it's not genetics or anything, because wrinkles definitely run in our family, lol, and we all look exactly alike.  So there's def. some truth to the Vaseline trick!

But, yeah, I'd keep doing what you're doing.  You'll be 60 and ppl will be mistaking you for a 20 year old, lol.!!
