Okay so my doctor prescribed some prenatal vitamins that where for extreme morning sickness and they made me vomit and more nausea's so I stopped taking them and when back to my old vitamins!! I'm 20 weeks and I feel really bad!! And I vomit at least once a day! Its nothing like I can't keep food down but its really bad! So does that mean that I'm stuck with vomiting and nausea through all my pregnancy?

  1. I was the same way. I asked my doctor and she said that for now switch to Flintstones vitamins until your able to handle the prenatal ones.

  2. no you are not doomed

  3. Ask your doctor to prescribe an anti-nausea medication.  I've had great luck with Zofran.

  4. What you need to do is keep some crackers by your bed and before you get up try to eat on or two. What really worked well for me was lime and salt. At first I was like ewwww but it really worked. What you do is wash a lime cut it in four and dab some salt on 1 piece in the morning when you get up and it will help you alot. And the other three pieces save them for the other three day. Try it I gurantee you'll feel alot bettr and you'll be able to eat and keep food down.

  5. You should talk to your doctor about getting you something for the nausea and vomiting. Phenergan and Zofran are both approved for pregnancy, although Phenergan makes you sleepy, and Zofran is very pricey. It worked wonders for me though and if you have good insurance it should cover it. I was vomiting 8-12 times a day before I got on the Zofran. It was awful! I feel your pain! Good luck and Congrats on the baby! I hope I helped.
