Question:

Am I drinking too much?

I'm finding that I've been drinking a lot more lately and I can't help but be a little concerned. During the week I usually have a beer or two when I get home after work, fridays I do a little happy hour with my coworkers and then with my girlfriend, and finally I drink and hangout with the buddies on saturday. Sunday I have things like bills to pay, laundry, grocery shopping etc to do so drinking is out. Monday it starts all over. I never get "wasted" or hungover though.

Am I drinking too much even though it's not affecting my life in a negative way?

  1. I dont think your drinking that much but slacking off during the week would probually be better then drinking everyday.

  2. Doesn't sound like too much to me.  The big one is that it's not affecting your life in any negative way.  THAT'S when it would be a problem, no matter the quantity.

  3. well it might not be a problem now , but it may grow into one.. so try other things for fun.... When you come home from work try taking a nice bath and watching the game.... get your girlfriend to give you a massage.... its allright to go out on weekends and have a good time. but don't over do it.

  4. That is not alot. If it starts to affect your life negatively then you may want to start to question it. Its not like you are binge drinking everyday which is like more than 4 drinks at a time.

  5. You are paying your bills so thats a good sign heres my measure:

If you are sober enough to ask then no! If you can't form a sentence or wet yourself, or fall in a public place then yes!

  6. i dont think its possible to drink to much!

  7. i think your ok

  8. you're fine, i go to sleep plastered almost every night

  9. if it's not affecting your life negatively then you should be fine...Though if it keeps up, I predict a beer belly in your near future!

  10. HAHAHAHA, not at all !!! your fine :)

  11. You sound like you've got things under control, but if you're concerned with it to the point where you would post about it then maybe you do have a problem.  If it's not negatively affecting your health, personal relationships, or life in general then I'd stop worrying about it.  You do sound as if you're in a bit of a cycle and maybe that's what you're concerned with.  Honestly the only person that can determine if you have a problem is you.
