Question:

Am I eligible for Israeli Citizenship?

Just wondering if I am eligible: For example this situation: I'm not a part of any church. Same like my parents and grandparents. Mother of my step-grandfather was a Jew (I think, she died in a n**i work camp). So am I eligible to go to Israel and receive a citizenship? What are the requirements? Thanks for answers.

  1. No you will not qualify for citizenship. Step-grandparents are grandparents simply by marriage reasons. You will have to have blood relatives and further more will have to prove you are Jewish by showing letters of recommendation from rabbis and other Jewish religious leaders. If you converted to Judaism you will have to show proof of your conversion and submersion to Jewish culture.
