I am a college sophomore playing water polo at the collegiate level. I played water polo throughout high school starting the summer before I was a freshmen. I am now starting to think that I might be interested in starting to become a referee. I need a summer job, and I love water polo. I understand the rules and I was thinking that maybe I would be a referee for younger ages. Do you think that I have enough experience? I would really appreciate other water polo refs or water polo players and coaches to let me know. Or refs from other sports works as well.

  1. Yes please. Water polo needs ref's that actually know water polo. Don't hesitate.

  2. yeah, you are more than qualified to become a water polo ref! I think they would love to have you ref especially because you have played for several years and you know the rules! I know the league my old high school is in are always looking for refs because there just aren't enough people willing to become a water polo ref....so I think you should definitely become a ref =)
