Question:

Am I going BALD? Please no!?

Completely terrified of it. I haven't been getting a lot of sleep recently (By that, I mean staying up until 1PM the next day and sleeping until 4PM and repeating), and since that my hair has thinned. A lot.

I don't recall it coming out in clumps or anything, but apparently a lot came out. Am I going bald, or is it just because of my sleep?

Since it's thinned, sections of my head hurt or itch.

I rarely exercise, but there *is* baldness in my family. My dad is bald, but to my knowledge only when he was 40 and onward. No one on my mom's side is bald, and I'm absolutely terrified that I've gotten every single bad gene this family has to offer.

I don't actually have any bald spots on my head, and it seems to be thin everywhere evenly.

Please, someone tell me I'm not going bald. Oh god, I love my hair too much for it to go away.

  1. When someone is going bald, I don't believe hair thins evenly.

If you've been using a new kind of shampoo or conditioner, it's possible it could be a kind of reaction to that.

  2. well, guys usually get the bald gene from their grandpa on their mom's side. if he's not bald, then you probably won't be. try getting more sleep. if that doesn't work you can always ask your doctor or go to the salon. i'm sure they can recommend some kind of shampoo for hair growth or something.

  3. sorry to say but if you're going bald then you are going bald but there are stuff that you can put on your head for your hair to grow and stuff like that, go ask a doctor for the specifics if it means that much to you
