75% of my job is to turn away Salesmen who walk into our office or call. I have to keep my guard up and say NO no matter what and it just leaves me feeling like Queen B***h!!

  1. Saying no or turning away a salesman isn't inherently bad. It's only bad if you do it in a mean way.

  2. No you are not going to h**l

Are you professional about it or do you act like a Qeen ******?

  3. As long as your job is not immoral it's OK. You could lighten up on your anger, but I don't know you.

  4. Only if God gets a job in Sales.

  5. h**l isnt real so, no.

  6. They have a special corner reserved for receptionists there! :P

  7. no, they are salesmen and expect to be turned down a certain percentage of the time, that is part of their job as well ...  I am sure their training includes ways to try and get past the people in your position (ie -YOU!) - either by being charming, manipulative, or giving you a guilt trip!

as long as you are not being over-the-top rude and calling them names or shouting obscenities at them, then I am sure you are fine ...

think of it as strengthening your character ... wish I had that kind of job practice, just to use in everyday life!!!

  8. why because they are being rejected!

look you are the gate keeper your doing your job! your not calling them names and being rude your just saying no to their day!

they hear it all the time!

    they are use to it!

they hate it but use to it!

  9. its your job not you life theyll get over it!@!
