  1. You'll be over it before it starts. Over 50% of people are divorced

  2. it will be tough at first, but all you need to remember is both your parents love you.

  3. Devorices are hard i'm 20 now but my parents devoriced when i was your age as well i tried evrything to get them back together like setting them up inviting them both out to luncha nd then disapearing, runing away and more but it got worse if your parents think that it's the best thing then listen to them it's there choice but make sure they know how you feel and the up side is you get two homes and twice as much presents don't worry it's hard but your get use to it!

  4. You'll definately be ok. It's going to be really tough at first, and you might think it was your fault, but it's NOT. Your parents made the choices they did for personal reasons. You may have to switch back and forth between houses, but in time that will become comfortable. My best friend's parents are divorced, and she is a wonderful person. Both her parents really love her, and try to help her feel as normal as she can. I hope everything works out, and trust me you will be fine.

  5. It's going to be hard at first but you will be ok.  Just remeber that they both still love you very much.

  6. Wow. This is going to be hard for you, but you are very strong. I know you are because you took the step on here to ask for advice. Your life will be different with your parents being apart from each other - it's different than you've ever know. You are also at an important time in your life when your body is starting to change and your emotions are different. Don't take this lightly and let yourself be overlooked.

Tell your parents that you need to talk to them, preferably together. Then tell them that you know they are making decisions that will affect you and you need to know how. Ask them how your life will change and what will stay the same. This is important for you to know. If there is information they give you that upsets you, don't get angry and tell them you don't love them - you know it isn't true. Just tell them that you are hurt by the decision and ask if it's open for discussion or if their mind is made up. Most of all, be honest about how you feel: sad, hurt, angry, betrayed, etc. Also be sure to tell them you love them and remind them that you need to hear the same from them.

Unfortunately, most kids today can relate to what you are going through. Be sure to let your new teachers know what is going on at home so they can be supportive to you. You will make it through this and hopefully when you marry and have a healthy relationship as an adult, you will remember what divorce does to a child. You can only make a difference if you care to.

  7. Divorce can be a very stressful time for everyone involved.  Keep in mind that your parents' divorce is not your fault in any way.  Most people split up because they can't live with each other any more for a variety of reasons.  This does not mean that your parents don't love you.  When everything is settled and custody is arranged it will take some time to get used to "the new normal".  If you're having difficulties you can speak to another trusted relative or a school counselor about your feelings.  You will be okay eventually.

  8. You'll be fine. My parent's divorced when I was about four. You won't like it at first & sometimes it can be rough. Make sure you see your parents both equally. Visit the one you don't live with as much as possible.

If they start dating others, you most likely with hate that at first.

But you might end up liking your step-parent(s) if you get any.

Divorce is all for the best. I hope you deal with it better than I did.

  9. it is ok im me whenever  im 10 and same siaution my mother wil not let me go to my father
