  1. not now, but get a real mx bike and start riding with someone who can teach you stuff. have fun

  2. NO Sorry but you would get eaten alive.Your not even smart enough to buckle the chin strap on your helmet let alone wear the rest of the gear you need. You better stay home.

  3. Sorry dude.even with the xr you'll crash. You need to know how to  turn at full speed and go through the jumps. You'll just crash and get hurt.Plus you need the gear. And how to land the jumps. And xr's aren't good for jumping it will bottem out.i have to use my consins 80 to race so the xr won't break down.

  4. Thanks for the tips young fella.I'll be watching out for you.

  5. If that's you in the videos, I don't think your quite ready for racing just yet.  Not to say you can't aquire some knowledge but in the first video your trying to make the bike wheelie by pulling up on the handle bars, you do it with power from the engine, not your arms, didn't watch the second video saw no sense in it.  Just ride with some friends off road, some friends that know how to ride a little better than you do.  I raced motocross for about 6 years and did a lot of praticing before getting into a race.  When I did race I didn't win anything and the best I could hope to accomplish was to pass SOMEBODY.  I was told later by a good motocrosser that it took three years, the first one you fell down alot, the second year you got to pass more people and the third you might get somekind of trophy.  Rode a Husqvarna, 360 Bultaco Bandito and a 250 Bultaco Pursang, the Pursang was the winner for me.

  6. You don't have to win to have fun. If you would like to try motocross then just give it a try and see what you think. You are riding a trail bike instead of a motocross bike so that will put you at a disadvantage obviously, but I ran my first race on a Honda SL70 with turn signals and a head light!! The reason many of the folks here say you won't have a good chance is because many motocross racers your age have been on the track racing since they were 5 years old and many have been through motocross classes as well. Riding trails and stuff really doesn't give you the skills to win a motocross race, but that doesn't mean you won't do well at it once you get some time in on the track. Just go give it a try and if you really enjoy it maybe look at moving to a 125 or 250F race bike and practice on the track as much as possible. Like I said, having fun is all that matters. There will always be someone better no matter how fast you get. Be safe and enjoy.
