  1. Your poems are real, true. No hidden meaning, and that's pretty good. You could use some expansion on your vocabulary, but at 15 you have lots of time to improve. Maybe you could try to get some of them published by entering a poetry contest. Try these:

  2. You're old enough to publish poems.  The youngest author that ever existed was from 4-9 years old.  I'm almost 18 and I'm writing 2 novels right now.  I hope to publish them before or after college.  For me, it's hard to find time for your novels and college work.

Sorry if I rambled on too much.  I hope my answer helped.

    VIVA LA RAZA!

  3. yeah im sure you are old enough. im 19 and im writing my own novel right now and juggling my college work but its hard.

i dont think there is a set limit to when you can be published

  4. I think so. Im 13 and I've written 2 books, each at least 300 pages. u just need to find a good publisher. i'll be doing that soon too (after i rewrite the first book. it has to fit with the second book i just wrote becasue the second one is the sequel)

  5. Paolini wrote Eragon at that age. If you think your poems are good, try to get them published.

    Hope I helped! =]

  6. We all have differing opinions on what's good enough to be published.  If you believe that your work is good enough than go about the process of getting it published.  If you rely on the opinions of others you will find yourself on a rollercoaster.  And no, you are not too young to get published.  You just need to be willing to do the work.

  7. Hi sweetie,

Getting published isn't about being good "for your age," it's about being the best, regardless of age. There are plenty of very young authors and poets who are published, but I think you still have some sharpening of skills that needs to be done before your work is up to par with what publishers want. You can certainly try to submit your poems for publication, it wouldn't hurt anything, but I think you should focus on writing often, taking creative writing classes, and getting better at your craft.

  8. My Older Sister had Cystic Fibrosis, She died when i was 3 She Was 18 I'm 14 Now . Your Poems Are Really good and it would be great to see Poems to raise awareness about the disease. You should definitely publish these. (:.

  9. I read several of your poems and you brought me to tears.  You have a flair for words and expressing yourself.  I was able to feel your pain for your little sister and for your friend.

Keep writing!  Write every day, whether in a journal or a letter.  Read a lot, too.

I hope you have a teacher who sees your potential.  I've written 1.5 novels (someday I'll finish the 2nd!).

You're definitely an artist.  I had a professor who told me that art should make you feel something.  Your work does just that.  Keep it up!  BTW, you're a fantastic big sister.
