This morning I taught my seven-year-old how to make anagrams from people's names, including hers, her siblings, uncles/aunts, grandparents, and from other words. She loves it, and prolly will think up some funny stuff.... Oh, and I called her a "good thought thinker" when she said she thinks good thoughts whenever she hears her favorite singer sing. :D

  1. I guess so?

  2. Thats great, but what does that have to do with you being a good or bad mommy?

  3. I don't personally know you, but if your kids are healthy, happy, and well taken care of then you have to be doing something right.  Parenting is a lot of hard work and you're never going to be the best.  Nobody is perfect and we all have our downfalls.  The most important things that I think should be qualities in a parent is: teaching (which is one of the things you did), patience, caring for them, being a firm hand when needed, and trying to not be their friend but try to be their mentor.  Parents get confused now and want to be their kids best friend, which is fine, you can be close to your child, but don't let them walk all over you.  You have to set guidelines and take time out of your own schedule to work with them in a way that they can understand.  There are so many more things that I could go on about, but I think these are the most important.
