Am I growing pumkins or some mutation?

I have pumpkin vines in my yard. They are from last year's pumpkins. The pumkins are whitish yellow. Will they turn orange? If not, what am I growing? Thanks.

  1. Not all pumpkins are orange. This might sound weird but I think white pumkins are very pretty.

Another thing is that they might not be ripe, pumpkins are a fruit so you'll need to let them ripen (A bannana is usually green before going yellow and a strawberry is white before going red and a tomato is green before going red)

  2. they will turn orange as they ripen, unless they are the white variety, they just want some prolonged sun.
