Am I growing up too slowly?

Question

I am an 18 year old boy who is kind of shy. In a lot of ways I am considered mature because I am a sensible, level-headed and easy going person.

However, to a certain extent, I have always been afraid of growing up I suppose. I always become interested in normal teenage things a couple of years later than everyone else. For example, girls, parties, drinking, driving etc. I also enjoy activities which are more suited to young people at times as well.

So is there something wrong with me? Am I growing up/maturing too slowly?

Of course not.  Dude your only 18, you still have a lot of living left to do and a lot of time to do it.  You don't want to rush through the good years.  Personally, i made myself grow up to fast, I got my license as soon as I could and bought a car, I started working when I was 15 and it wasn`t`t till I went away to college that I realized I grew up to fast and missed out on a lot of stuff.

So don`t rush it, it will happen when it needs to but for now stay young and have fun you will be old soon enough!!
