Am I having a miscarriage?

On Aug. 19 I had severe lower stomach pain, it lasted for about 4 to 5 hours.Sometimes i would get a sharp ripping pain as well. then i started feeling better and i went on with the rest of my day as normal. Then around 5:30 am Aug. 20th it happened again but this time it was a lot worse and lasted almost 10 hrs. around 1:00 am on Aug 21st it happened again but it didn't hurt quite as bad. But i had this grayish clotty type discharge. But i haven't had any bleeding yet. I talked to a doctor over the phone and he said that it might just be part of the pregnancy, but there is a possibility of a miscarriage.If it is then why aren;t i bleeding?

It is usually caused by your uterus stretching. If this is your first pregnany it is highly likely.... pay your doctor a visit... no harm no foul...

not to scare you but i read in one of my pregnancy books you can have a misscarige without bleeeding dont risk your babys life go get yourself checked out piece of mind doesnt hurt

how far are you may i ask...because that kinda sounds like it, but just let us know how many weeks so that we can give you our opinion...it really can be a number of things in pregnancy.
