Am I just supposed to talk to one family?

Question

I'm on greataupairs.com and two families have just contacted me about working for them, am I only supposed to communicate with one family? If I communicate with both and then one hires me I have to break it to the other family and they have wasted their time.

but if I talk to just one family and they don't hire me, I have missed out on a family.

This is my first time on the site, which am I supposed to do?

Contact both.  As a courtesy to them and also for yourself.  One may be better suited to you than the other, and you won't know by just contacting one.

Negotiate with both until you get what you're after.  Since both have communicated with you, it's only polite that you respond.

I'd speak to both and I would explain that you are thrilled for the opportunity but that you have to decide as someone else has given you the opportunity also. They will understand. Thats how life works. Good luck.
