Am I killing my hamster????

Question

My hamster has wet tail so we took it to the vets and got some antibiotics we are supposed to give her 0.1 twice a day but with her first dose I gave her 0.3 so what should i do is she goona die? or as i was joking will she just get better faster?

call the vet because some of the medicines we get if we give just more than the need amount it could hurt if you get more than what they proscribed to give like in the morning all at once. Call the vet to be safe and sure that she is fine. Also after checking in with the vet to be safe i might not give her the other dose of her medicine today. BUT seriously call to be safe some of these is not safe to give that much thats alot

I would call your vet. Overdoses are never good. That is a big overdose for a hampster! Call the vet immediatly. No, she is not going to get better faster!

it depend on the Antibiotic that you gave to him some antibiotic has toxic effect in overdose other has high safe margin  ... ask the vet

wet tail is really fatal. my hamster died within just 5 days of getting it untreated. giving it 0.3 was a bad idea. the hamster is already going through alot of pain and suffering.

Call the vet and tell them what you did. Hamsters are small, so even the tiniest overdose could seriously hurt them. Just don't give her any more today. Follow the vet's orders. They know best.

Overdosing will not make her better any sooner.
