Am I losing my memory?

I've never been good at remember things but for the past couple months it seems as if it's gotten worse. and i'm only sixteen!

i can't really think of a good example right now but this is the best way i can describe it. If someone told me to do something <i.e. go grab me my keys> i forget to after like 5-10 minutes.

can anyone tell me if this is normal or not?

should i take some kind of vitamin that helps me remember better?!

what should i do?

  1. i know how you feel.....

  2. It could simply be a phase of TMI-too much information. Or even stress. Are you overwhelmed?

Also, another angle to pursue ( and this is more serious) is to ask if you have always had memory problems. For example, when you study for a test, do you know everything, but fail it the next day? You might have an auditory processing disorder.

However, since this has been occurring in in the last few months, i must ask you what is going on in your life that is different? Stress/depression can impair concentration and memory. I suggest exercise, proper nutrition, and relaxation ( whether it be meditation, music, warm bath, playing w/ your dog, etc. ).

If this persists, please tell your MD. Good Luck!

  3. Woah am just like you lol I barley remember stuff like that but I think its just a phase.
