Am I meant to have an Aussie accent? Is it weird if I don't?

Well, my parents were born elsewhere and I was born here.

I was wondering it it's normal for me to still speak with a very light accent from my background as I tend to use my home language as much as English to my parents.

  2. We get our accents from our parents and from the people we interact with every day. If you still speak your first language at home, it is completely understandable and normal for you to have a trace of their accent.

  3. Russell Crowe has a s**y Aussie accent. It's okay if u don't have it . What's important is that others can understand what ur saying and that ur a good person.
