Am I mentally underdeveloped? Child like..?

Question

Im scared of the dark, I have a blanket and I suck my thumb.

Im really dependant on my boyfriend too I make him do everything for me (except for cooking, cleaning etc)

My mum told me that im very child like the other day and it has made me think.. whats wrong with me?

I'm 19 by the way, totally independant of my parents... I work, pay bills and pay the rent like everyone else :)

I would say if you are still sucking your thumb and am scared of the dark then Yes you are very child like for your age.

What? No!

I'm 19 and afraid of the dark. It's a fear - it's not only children who have fears. Adults have alot of different fears! I don't think Im child like because of it.

I don't suck my thumb, but I had a pacifier until I was about 8 - and I'm thinking of getting one again. Whats wrong with sucking your thumb? If it relaxes you - go for it. Some people soak their feet, you suck your thumb. Simple. Some people listen to rhythmatic music because it relaxes them - like their mothers heart used to do in the womb. Sucking your thumb is no different.

Getting your boyfriend to do everything for you - hmm - well, it depends. If you do your own cooking and cleaning, then I don't see a problem, if he doesnt. Some relationships are like that.

My fiance squeals at moths and I have to help him. Hahahaha harr!
