Am I missing anything by not using Google?

Question

Are they better than Yahoo in any way?

Is this when the Yahoo Answers staff answers my question?

As far as an actual search engine is concerned, I would personally say that Google is better than any other search engine.  Yahoo is good for people who want all of their media in one place, like integrating mail with t.v. and music.

And I have no clue if the Yahoo Answers staff answers any specific type of question.

No not really. The only time I find google useful is for computer troubleshooting questions.

Im a yahoo girl myself. I have used google many times when I couldnt find stuff on yahoo. And everytime I couldnt find it on google or msn either so...i would have to say no you dont lose anything by uding yahoo...actually you gain alot in my opinion. And i dont work for yahoo....I just yaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhoooooooo ok that was stupid LOL

And i look up studies, arts, and other college stuff as well as a lot of medical and research stuff.

If you want a FAST, SIMPLE, uncluttered, no advertisement home page, use google, I do.  If you want the search engine that will return the most possible results, including results from the entire usenet archive?, use google, I do.

If you want to see lots of headlines, links to other sites, articles pumping celebrity bull*** use yahoo, msn, etc.

Did I mention Google was FAST?  Did I mention no ads or clutter?

I absolutley HATE clutter in web pages...  When a search engine that works well comes along that is less cluttered than google, I'll start using it, but quite honestly, that's going to be awfully hard to do.  There isn't much google could take out of it's home page

The only thing they could do to improve it is to get rid of the "Advertising solutions" "Business Solutions" and "About us" at the bottom and take out the "I'm feeling lucky" button... That would clean it up nicely.

Well To Me Google is more Accurate than Yahoo. Most People just use Google, So Im guessing if majority uses Google they try to improve it as much as possible.

Give different search results. Both get the job done and may vary search to search. I personally like google's design and ease of use.

I know Google is supposed to search more sites, but I always have trouble finding a relevant link to what I'm searching for when I use it.  I use Yahoo 99.9% of the time...I don't like Google personally, so no.

The question is not if you are losing anything by using Yahoo, its what you can use that is better.
