or do they get a "free pass" because other people make them believe that?

  1. I am intolerant of intolerance as well.

  2. No just remember when you do hate them you are guilty of exactly what they are guilty of. You become them.

  3. Nope, because there is nothing wrong with being g*y and athiest's if they are decent people and good , shouldnt have to live in eternal h**l fire.

  4. Don't sweat it, most ppl are h**l bound and don't even know it.

  5. I am curious.... How do you know what people "think?"

    Are you psychic?

    Best regards.

  6. No you are not, people are so quick to judge others for their sins but ignore their own and of course everyone sins. I personally feel that after you die the lessons you need learn are still not over and even in death God will judge in a way. I personally dont think people are going to go to actual h**l but I do think there will be a place for people to live out their eternity away from God in a peaceful place but being from God I think is h**l in itself.

  7. I think it is wrong for others to try to shove their beliefs at people, but when asked my opinion, i will tell you what God says in the bible.

How do you know that the bible is not God's word. It has been around far longer than you or me, how do you know. I get asked to "prove the bible is true" but my question to you is, can you disprove it, can you really prove that it did not come from God?

  8. i don't think it is wrong to feel what you're feeling. i agree that it is so wrong for humans to judge humans and it frustrates me every day. however, i do agree with your quote. there are many ignorant people out there who are so caught up in judging other people that they don't realize they are probably missing out on some great people. realize that you figured out that love and compassion is better than hate and ignorance and that is awesome.

  9. No, you're not wrong. In fact those people, in my humble atheistic opinion, deserve a punch to the face. And I will do it if I ever have to face one down in real life.

  10. I think you are free to dislike whoever you want. I dislike tons of people for different reasons, but I dont hurt them. So I think as long as you dont go out and try to convert others to dislike these people and you dont harm to anyone your good.

  11. Apart from God's standard of molar law we are left with human opinions about it.

All forgiven people go to heaven

  12. No, not at all.  I'm Christian-ish, and I detest such hatred.

    Hence, the -ish

  13. They aren't aware of just how offensive their silly beliefs are, so cut them some slack. Getting upset over the beliefs of other people is a waste of time.

  14. Those people are fighting with their own sexuality, and that is punishment enough.  Otherwise they wouldn't care what others do, if they didn't think they would be tempted to join in.  Many christians live their whole lives and die in the closet, it is their own nature they are fighting.

  15. It doesn't come down to Morals.  It is your personal opinion of these people.  If you dislike them you dislike them.  I don't like them either.

  16. I always tell my kids to overlook ignorance...these people are not stupid, they are ignorant...stupid is knowing the truth and still doing the wrong thing..these people have been indoctrinated with hate so deeply that they honestly dont know any better.... they honestly feel pain for people they are certain are headed for h**l....so, just overlook it!

  17. I am christian and while I might have differing opinions with g**s/atheists and know that some of their actions are sins, that does not mean that I think they will be thrown into everlasting hellfire. They are hardly demon spawn, I have meet several of each and they are also good in other ways.

They are free to act and think for themselves, but I also have by freedom to think that their actions and belives are wrong. I personally think that Jesus Christ will be merciful as much as possible to all people. And there are many causes for why people are atheits or believe they are g*y, most of them having to do with the way they were raised or how society influenced them.

I also think that the hellfire described in the scriptures is more like a constant feeling of shame and sorrow for not following Jesus Christ. It seems like a little satanic to burn people for eternity, and christians who want others to do it are not very christlike.

  18. "Morally wrong"?  I'd say no, but it does lack virtue and wastes your time better spent on your own kindness and altruism, which ultimately will lead to just shaking your head and pressing on.  Dislike on any level can be supressed (note I didnt' say "get rid of") and happiness to arise, and/or other means of protection and virtuous deeds to protect others being hurt.

    _()_

  19. There's a difference between dislike and hatred. It's normal to dislike people who hold such offensive opinions. But perhaps some of them are good people at heart, just ignorant, and if you reach out to them perhaps you can convince them to change their minds. As the old saying goes, you catch more ants with honey than with a flaming pool of napalm... or something like that.

  20. I am a christian and I do not hate anyone. I hate sin. There is a big difference. When are you going to realize that being g*y will send you h**l just the same as any other sin. Yes I have sinned and I have also asked for forgiveness. But I dont go out and sin willingly and think that it is ok. If you are a christian you are not going to continue to sin. You know that it is wrong. All sin is wrong and will send you to h**l with out forgiveness.

  21. Yes you are.  Why?  It's because you are thinking the worst of them.  You want people to change; think good of them and send them good vibrations.  People change by what and how they feel.

  22. I don't dislike them.....I mostly feel sorry for them...and then I ignore them.

  23. Morally wrong - no

    Energetically wasteful - yes!

I find it best to ignore those bigots.

  24. We are all morally wrong anyway. Morals count for little to nothing to God. We are not up to His standard.

I know that a lot of Christians count morals to be something. But biblically they are wrong about that.

  25. everyone has different believes

  26. YES! Agnostics aren't in the same category as g**s!

  27. Morally wrong?  That may be a matter of opinion.  Can you get to the point where you disagree with them and dislike their beliefs without disliking them?

There are a lot of folks I disagree with and a whole lot of things people say and do that I do not like.  But still somehow, I have to find a way to like and even love that person.

  28. You're not morally wrong to dislike people who believe in hateful c**p.

Especially when that hateful c**p isn't in the book they claim is the basis of their view.

  29. No you are not morally wrong humans do not have the right to judge any one or anything

  30. No, no free pass. No one "makes" you believe anything. If you are so gullible that you fall for anything, it's still your own fault. It's called taking responsibility, which some people seem to have issues with since they've given their lives to god and now it's all his job to take care of them and hold their hand when they go to the bathroom.

  31. I wouldn't say hate them. I can understand dislike though. However, "forgive them for they know not what they do" doesn't work here. Why? Because they know exactly what they do. They have the ability to see the flawed morality of their stance, and yet they allow themselves to remain blind for it. I dislike them, personally. That point of view is judgemental, hurtful, hatefilled, and uneducated, all by choice.

Don't hate them, but don't excuse them either.
