Am I musically odd and the equivalent of...?

Question

a white guy who listens to rap? I'm a Mexican-Puerto Rican gal, and (put nicely) I don't care for rap or reggaeton like the rest of my peers.

From Atreyu to Aerosmith and Motorhead to MCR and AFI to The Animals and Baumer to The Beatles and Coldplay to Cream and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus to The Rolling Stones and even Linkin Park to Led Zeppelin, I will listen to and adore any rock and metal I can get my meathooks on. Any genre, any time. I don't care if it's pop rock or classic rock or even what people will ignorantly call emo! I love it.

Not really too much of a serious question, I will always love and stand by what I listen to. Just wanting to see people's responses. Do you think I'm odd? //_^

No, I like music from every genre some that don't exactly go together but everybodies personalities are different so why should their taste in music all be the same.

Not at all hun. You like what you like, and not what your "supposed" to like. I don't like it when people see me (I'm as white as they come btw haha), and they automatically think that I like country. And I actually hate country music. I like everything from metal, to reggae, and I stand by it too. It's just who we are. The color of our skin says nothing about our preferences.. It just depends on the kind of person you are.. So no, I don't think you're odd at all ☺
