  1. Old is always ten years older than I happen to be, in my opinion.

It's just a state of mind.  I never intend to get old, tho I hope to live for quite a few years yet.

  2. Nope.  You know you're officially old when they discontinue your blood type!

  3. I understand. The "oldies" station here is playing classic rock, but I've "graduated to "Island" music- reggae, calypso, since visiting the Bahamas.

I still like my classic rock.

  4. Not quite.  You're officially old when all the songs you loved in high school are used in bits and pieces in commercials. You hear enough to know you know that song but they 've altered it just enough to drive you crazy.

  5. No, you are not old till you can't remember your name.

  6. No, it means you have a good memory!!!

  7. Yes, you have made it to the Golden Oldies era of your life.  At least you can find some music you like on the radio now.  Relax and enjoy youself.  That's what I do.

  8. No!  I'd rather be old than dead.

  9. When people curse you for being a horrible driver and a menace to those that just "know" they own the roads all without ever having even seen you in a vehicle let alone drive one... then you are officially old.

  10. Old is also when you hear songs on the oldies station from dances that you were an adult chaperone for!

OR, when the kids in your classes tell you their grandparents listen to the same music you do!

  11. Heck no, we don't get old, we grow up.

    DeeJay.

  12. nah, you are only old if you think you're old.  it's a state of mind.  sure, we all change as we age but keep active and engaged, old songs don't make us old.

  13. Haaaa

I knew I was old when this little hair started growing out of my face between my lip and chin

Love the oldies but I always have even when I was in first grade I loved listening to Lawrence Welk

  14. Yep.  It's official!!!!  But you are in a rather large club, so welcome!!

  15. You ain't old until the ***lady starts to sing and you go down to show her how it's done. by randi :-D I know young people that like the oldies station. Pretty strange since I Like THEIR music. yessiree.

**Never going to grow old gracefully. I'm going to keep having face-lifts until my ears meet.

"Rita Rudner". l love this one.

**You know you're old when you stoop down to tie your shoe lace and you see what else you can do while your down there.

    "George Burns" Too funny.

**You're old when flowers scare you.

    George Burns" My favorite.

  16. nah...old is watching the Barrett Jackson Auction and seeing a 1968 Hemi 'Cuda sell for $99,000 . I remember seeing one in a new car showroom with a window sticker of $3800.00

  17. Age is only a number.  We seniors all appreciate the "oldies".

  18. LOL...shocking isn't it!  I realized I was old when they remade songs from my high school years with new artists singing them and my daughter asked how I knew the song.  I had to tell her it wasn't a new song but an old one just remade.

  19. Your not old until you forget if you went to high school

  20. Yes, indisputably, unabashely old. To be perfectly honest, I am avidly salivating over all those oldies songs I heard in college, high school, junior high, elementary school and even preschool summer camp (We learned "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" from songsheets when it first became a hit!)
