Am I okay? I used a food icepack to help my arm?

My arm was hurting so my mom handed my an icepack. It was one of those reusable food icepacks, the blue ones, you know? I had it on my arm on and off for about an hour. and then i looked around on it and it said its not for therapeutic use. am I okay??

First of all, if your arm is hurting just try massaging it a bit and just leave it alone until it gets better. Second, it's just an icepack...all it is is coldness, it's not gonna harm u in anyway just because it says its not for therapeutic use. it's just meant for food that's probably why is says that. ur fine

It's still ice. They just don't want people using them all the time.

You probably are fine, but those types of icepacks are too intense, and can give frostbite.  At least, wrap it in a cloth, but it is better to avoid inappropriate intervention that might have risks.
