  1. Don't listen to her. Being a minor has nothing to do with getting a restraining order. If you feel the need to get one, such as being harassed, feel threatened, or any of the sorts, you can get one at an y time. But you need to have probable cause. You can't just tell the judge you don't want to be around this person. There has to be something behind it, and you have to abide by it as well. Call your local prosecuting attorney.

  2. It really depends on the laws of the state you live in.  Here in NC you are still considered a minor until you are 18. Until then you have to bring your parents or legal guardian with you.

The best way to get an answer is to call your local police department and ask them.

  3. with your parents, yes.  But it also depends on your state, and local laws.

Some states call them protective orders.  Ask your friendly local policeman/woman, they are usually happy to help.

  4. Go to the police station near you and ask. They are the best place for this answer

  5. I know for a fact you can... but you might have to have a parent orlegal guardian go with you. Good Luck x

  6. yes you can. I was the same age when I got one on my ex boyfriend.

your parent has to actually go get it done but you go with them and everything.

  7. You are a minor and need to discuss this with your parents.

  8. You can get one, but because your a minor, your parents will have to get one for you, go to court with you, etc. You, yourself can not just get one, but with your parents help its possible, you just have to have good enough cause.

Talk with your parents and see what they think
