Question:

Am I overexercising? And if so, what are the consequences?

I typically walk for 3-4 hours each day, bike or jog for 1-2 hours and play basketball or soccer for about an hour. Am I overexercising? And if I am, what are the consequences? Also, how much exercise should I be getting? I am an 18 year old guy.

  1. Are you tired?  If you are tired, then maybe you are overexercising...but if you are not tired, then you obviously are not overexercising.

    If you are feeling fatigued at all....just completely wiped out, then you are overexercising....let that be your gauge.

  2. Nope.You are just active.as long as you eat right and remember to relax every now and then.Just think about it as balancing you know.some people are just more active than others

  3. well as long as you are getting enough rest and are eating a good diet

    otherwise

    you are more prone to injuries than most.

    You are doing a great job

    even tho I am 16 and I run for an 1-2 hours a day and practice agility, you are doing an awesome job
