Am I overweight or am I just insane. Please help!?

I weigh 51.5 kg and have a height of 5ft6in, am I fat? everyone tell me i'm thin, but whenever i look in the mirror, i see fat all over. the lighter the scale shows me the fatter i look in the mirror. What's wrong?

  1. we all think we are fat...we as in women...That's just natural...We see all the images on TV and then we want to all of a sudden be in a size 0. Just don't go extreme..And you will be okay.

  3. It depends on how old you are. 16-18 51 is fine, but over 18 years old your too skinny, under 16 years old and, your not fat, your just a bit over average. your only fat if you are about 10-12 and weigh 51.5

  4. while in agreement with all answers read just prior to mine... i would advise you look into height weight proportions since you're on line and give yourself a broader perspective... but ya, at your height and about what 129 lbs.? come on . !? that's under if anything... but sounds s**y t me... : )

  5. I'm kind of too tired to convert kg to lbs, but if everyone says you're thin, you ARE thin.

    Along with the fact, the lighter you get, the fatter you feel.

    I think you should see your doctor or a therapist about this - this mindset isn't healthy and may end up leading to some form anorexia.

  6. u are not overweight i think u r  either average or very thin

    r u too (i mean very very) depressed about it ? if u r seriously very depressed like u don't eat enough or workout to much or something like that then check with ur doctor cause there is a mental illness  in which people (even though they r underweight)  think they are obese.

    well if it isn't that serious maybe its just a feeling that many of us get at times and no big deal don't let it get serious u r NOT AT ALL FAT just remember that!

    Your weight "issue" is in your head. you need to develop a healthy attitude toward your body and eat healthily and keep fit.

    Stop obsessing over your weight - there is more to life, I suggest you take up a hobby like dancing were you can learn to appreciate your body.
