Had s*x exactly a month ago today (2nd Aug)

Took two home pregnancy tests on the 13th Aug because i thought i was getting pregnancy signs, those tests were both negative

I'm getting pregnancy signs again and this time they're more convincing that i am pregnant

did i take the tests too soon and should take one again to see if it's positive now?

could it change within that time, the embryo, etc?

would appreciate some help here guys, please

  1. Have you missed a period?  If so, take a test.  If not, wait until you miss your period and test.

  2. it is a bit soon to have symptoms yet and it could be your mind playing tricks on you, you should do a test again anyway just to be sure, hope its says what you want it to, good luck

  3. Have you missed a period ???  That is the 1st and major sign that you have.  Breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting.  You need to track your cycle and see if you are late or not.  Most home pregnancy tests are not that reliable anyway.  It is best to use the first mornings urine, that HCG hormone (pregnancy hormone) is more concentrated or the strongest in the AM.

  4. You're not supposed to test until you get a missed period if you want an accurate result. If that hasn't even happened yet, you are probably not pregnant considering you would not be having symptoms yet so it is probably just your mind playing tricks on you.

  5. I took a test after my period was 5 days late and it was negative.  One week later I took another test and it was positive, so here I am with my big fabulous belly!  I had symptoms the whole week betwen the tests and have to disagree with the comment that said it's too early.  While your mind can certainly play tricks on you, symptoms can be very real this early on.  My b*****s were very sore and I felt SO tired.  When I took the second test I told myself I was going to the doctor if it wasn't positive.

To answer your other question, yes, the pregnancy test can (obviously) change a lot in a week.  My pregnancy hormone levels are very high, but the first test I took still came up negative.

Last, through the next week, assuming you don't have your period, just go through life as if you're pregnant.  No heavy drinking, lifting, etc.  If you are pregnant you don't need to risk anything.  I just told people my back hurt during that unknown period and asked them to help me as I needed it.

    Good Luck!

Anyway, my advice to you is re-test in exactly one week (Sept. 9) if you haven't had your period.  If it's still negative, schedule a doctor's appointment so they can check your blood.  While at-home tests are very accurate these days, blood work is the sure-fire indicator.

  6. You should test again. You may have taken the others too soon. Good luck.
