I am a new mom breastfeeding a 8 months old. I'm wondering if this sign is a sign of pregnancy. I got sick to my stomach and puked then I felt fine. Hours later I get the same feeling then it goes away. Is it the sign? The problem is.. I haven't had a single period since before I got pregnant with my first baby.

  1. Breastfeeding isn't a remotely reliable contraceptive - that said, throwing up a couple of times has dozens of causes which are more likely than pregnancy.

  2. Take a test, I have heard that this in fact is a sign.  Its natures way of preparing your new baby for feeding and weaning your baby.  Sorry if this isnt what you want to hear.

  3. It's possible that you are pregnant.  After 6 months breastfeeding alone becomes much less reliable as birth control.  So, especially if  you aren't using contraception, you could certainly be pregnant.

All you can do is test.  You might be pregnant, or you might have  a touch of food poisoning or a tummy bug.
