Alright so I have been practicing for 3 days, 20 minutes a day. First day I learned the basics, reading TAB, Tuning etc. Seconds day I learned the D-A-E Chords. Today I switched of like D to A and I could do 7 times in a minute. So how am I? Do I need to practice more? Tommorow Im gonna try basic songs with just A,E,D.

  1. Give it a few weeks and your fingers will stop hurting completely. Just keep practising, you're doing fine.

  2. You are Gui-'tarded...  GET IT?!?!?!

  3. You are progressing fine and the fact that your fingers hurt is common for beginners. The reason why your fingers hurt is because you push to hard on the strings when you play. This is very common and the more you practice the more you will learn this. If I were you I would learn all of the chords A-G and work on strumming. Kind of get the feel of playing up and down and most of all you want to have good sound when you play. I think that that is more important than speed. Get great sound and then work on pace. Hope this helps. If you need help let me know. I have been playing for 11 years.
