Am I really getting paid less than what Im supposed to?

I supposedly make $36,500 a year. I get paid every week and my paychecks before taxes are $701.00. Meaning I get $2804 a month before taxes. I multiplied that by 12 and got $33,648. Am I really being cheated out of almost $2000 or is my math off? Please let me know because Im trying to do my finances and am wondering why Im struggling so much

there are 52 weeks a year (4.25 per month). $701 x 52= $36,452 per year. This is why some months (4 per year) you will be paid 5 times.
