Am I right in this pronunciation?

I was watching a movie last night and the young girl was an actress named "Daveigh" (per the credits)... Is her name said like "Davey?".. Funny thing is, that I'm not sure if I hate it or like it. Your thoughts?

Well assuming Daveigh rhymes with Leigh... then yes... it would be Davey. Possibly pronounced with emphasis on the Da. DA-vee
