I went to this Mexican Restaurant yesterday and I decided to buy a breakfast plate and a Mexican drink call Horchata. The Horchata cost me $3.25 and had no refills.(Fountain Drinks cost $2.50)Before finishing my food I was out of Horchata.I decided to stand up and get some soda from the fountain drinks. As I was getting some soda this worker(She was on her 15 minute break) said she was going to need to charge me because I was getting soda that cost $2.50 when I payed for a drink that cost $3.25.I was pissed off because not only I spend $3.25 on a drink and couldn't get a $2.50 Coca Cola drink.I got pissed off more because she was on her break and still decided to get me annoyed.Im asking you,am I wrong or is she wrong and playing weird?

PS I left my food and left.I was annoyed.

  1. You are wrong.

  2. She is correct.  It is considered shoplifting.  Or it is just out right stealing.  You should have just gotten some water to finish your meal.

  3. Sorry but she's right. It was clear what you were paying for when you bought it, and technically you did not pay for refills (regardless of the amount the Horchata cost).

  4. You know she's right.

You stated that your drink didn't come with refills, and yet you wanted to get a refill without paying.  That's stealing.

It doesn;t matter whether the employee was on her break or not!

  5. She's right. You knew when you bought the Horchata (whatever that is) that it had no refills. If you're still thirsty, drink water.  You have no right to be annoyed at her, since she is only doing her job. In fact, she should be commended for working even though she's on a break.
