Am I safe in a house during a t-storm?

I am really scared of storms, and i want to know if I am safe in a house during a storm? The lightning where i live is not severe and theres not cloud to ground lightning.

you  are  generally   99 .9 % safe inside as  long  as you  dont  attract  lightning with  electrical  activity  within  the  house .  turn  everything  unnecessary  off like  ther  computer  tv  and  radio unless  its  portable  and  on  batteries.

yes, but if it is severe like a tornado then get ur matress, go into a bathtub. and put the matress ofver you. or hide under something like a desk but matrress is safer.

If your house is sturdy and well-built.

But if the thunder storm is really strong,

hide under hard things.

The only thing besides flooding (depending on where you live) is Lightning.

You have a better chance of winning the Lottery than being struck by Lightning  in your house.
