Am I seeing ghosts?

okayy. recently at night, i always feel like im being followed. sometimes i see outlines of people out of the corner of my eye, but when i look where it was its gone. i live in orange county, CA, so its not anyplace known for ghosts. i know it sounds stupid, but until the past week or so, this hasn't happened.

First thing I would suggest is to make sure you are not being followed. Live people are more dangerous than ghosts.  At this point with the information you give it is hard to tell if you are just imagining things or if you are actually experiencing something real or paranormal.

Besides some of the rude answers you have gotten where you are assumed to be a paranoid person, or a psycho, in order for this question to be answered well, we would need more insight on you as a person.

That being said, whether or not you have a "ghost" following you or not is impossible to answer without knowing the exact details and experiencing the same phenomena you are.  Get another person to see what you see, capture something in a picture that is not a dust orb, and even attempt to communication with this "ghost" with an audio recorder and see if it responds to you or not.  What you described can be a paranormal occurence for sure but it doesn't necessarily mean it is either.

Since this just recently started occurring we can assume you are not a usually paranoid person.  If you feel you can trust your feelings, rule out everything you can, don't let people put you down, and maybe consult with a group that has experience in the field that can maybe determine what is going on.  That is the best answer I can give you, and good luck with your situation and sorry for the way others have answered you.

its not ghosts, dead people do not interact with the living, and can not come back. I believe Harry Houdini proved that already.

If its of paranormal nature, then its a shadowman, or a demon. You will hear them called by various names, such as Djinn.

Are they really there? Its hard to say, lots of people see them and are affected by them. People have even been known to become possessed by demons.

My belief is yes they are real.

Evidence and logic say no, they are figments of the mind.

I don't really think you're seeing ghosts.  If you think that you are being followed everywhere, outside of your house, at other peoples houses, at stores, then no, no ghosts.  It's just your imagination.

But if it's only in your house then maybe.  But if you don't hear footsteps or breathing or whatever, probably not.

You feel like you are being followed, because you want to feel like you are being followed. The outlines of people out of the corner of your eye means you are having vision problems, and when you turn to look, the "ghost" disappears.

ghosts are everywhere. you dont need to be at a haunted location like a cemetary too see one. maybe they wanted to let themselves known to you? Ancestors and past family members will do that.

you're probably just paranoid.  ghosts don't exist.  you are seeing shadows playing tricks with your mind, which is easy to fool about such things because you are paranoid.  you're safe.  the Martians aren't about to abduct you either.

I've had a similar experience in the house I live in.  The first time I saw this "ghost" was shortly after I bought the house in 1977.  It was fall, it was getting dark, but still dusk, and I was in the living room, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw this woman in a bridal gown with a long white veil gliding down the stairs in the entrance hall.  When I looked directly at her, she was gone.  That was it, until last fall, when the same thing happened to me again, and just like before, when I looked directly at her, she was gone.  Weird, huh?  But I guess she's not a very active ghost, with about 30 years between appearances!   I should live long enough to see her again!

Try to teach your self not to look  right at them,  just watch them out of the corner of your eye.  Your peripheral vision works different then your forward vision.  It is said that your  front vision goes through a vision processing area and that your peripheral goes strait in to your brain.  That is what makes you jump when something pops out at you from the side.  That is where you see ghost most of the time. Your vision recognition center filters out stuff it  can't sort out and you won't see it.  Weird but true! Ghosts are everywhere.

very normal, what you're seeing, and yes, you are more than likely seeing a ghost. Unless you're blessed the ability to see them with your naked eye or they choose to manifest (takes a lot of energy for them to do so, hence why it doesn't happen often and why you always see the ghost "disappearing" in stories), that is how you'll very often see them. And spirits are everywhere, cause people die everywhere, you know? Just that there are certain areas where stuff happened, so there's going to be more "lost souls" in certain areas.

You should ask a tarot reader if you have it and maybe who it is. If "the ghost" is following you everywhere you are probably a little paranoid or you have bad energy because you did something bad and that energy is what you carry around.
