Am I short for a PG?

I'm 5'8-5'9, is that short for a freshman(high school) point guard?

your only a freshmen so you'll grow some more. and 5'8 5'9 is small but for a point guard thats ok. just make sure your quick on your feet so u can make up for size not there, and make sure your handles are together since smaller people are just supposed to have that anyway.

No, and you will probably get taller anyway.  I have a friend who is about your height, he played point guard at Arizona State U, and then played professionally in Italy for several years.  Work on your passing, shooting, and defense and you can play regardless of height.

no cchris paul is an amazing point guard and only 6 feet and he stoped growing

You're a freshman in high school...

You'll probably grow to about 6 feet by the end of your high school career...And to answer your question no...That's quite OK...

There are NBA players that aren't much taller then you right now...
