Am I shy?. If so, what can I do to improve?

All these people at work comment about little things, that i feel i don't need to talk about. So i end up being the quiet one, does that mean i'm insecure, shy, etc? They're all girls by the way and im a guy maybe thats why i wasnt so interested when they were commenting on some old navy bag. I felt weird being quiet, wanted to say something but couldn't think of anything.

Men tend to talk less than women. You are probably just male, not shy. Cultures vary. What is improper in Pakistan is OK in the USA. You might add what country you live in next time.
